I take great pride in confirming that from my personal experience, Dr. Alejandro Badia is the top medical\/orthopedic doctors around. Dr. Badia was instrumental in repairing the flexor tendon on my left index finger after it was accidentally severed in 2004. After a complex surgery, the scar tissue growth around the finger hindered movement and slowed progress during therapy. Dr. Badia did not hesitate to ensure that immediate corrective action was taken to ensure that I was able to optimize the use of my left index. I underwent a second surgery and was on the road to recovery in no time. Through my encounters with him, Dr. Badia always took the time to explain (in simple terms) the details and was very patient in responding to all my concerns. Prior to surgery, he took the time to explain the steps and it made the situation a lot more comfortable. On a personal note, thanks to Dr. Badia, I continue to be able to play the guitar and my finger has gained almost all of its mobility. Above all, my index has recovered so well that sometimes, I don’t remember the accident and continue life in a very normal manner. Dr. Badia is personable and compassionate – he does drive you hard during therapy but that is ‘tough love’ that I only appreciated as my finger started to heal.
