This video explores the concept of injuries caused by prolonged desk work and the so-called “computer diseases” that arise from extended use of keyboards, mice, and poor posture. We discuss the most common conditions linked to desk jobs, such as carpal tunnel syndrome, tendonitis, neck and back pain, and how lifestyle factors play a role in their development.

In addition, this educational content highlights the important distinction between aggravation (when a pre-existing condition worsens due to work) and causality (when work directly causes the condition). The goal is to provide patients, caregivers, and professionals with clear insight into workplace-related injuries, prevention strategies, and when to seek medical attention.
