Famous Sports Medicine Specialist to Give a Free Talk
The prestigious Cuban-American physician Alejandro Badia, an expert in orthopedics, visited Lima to give a free talk for patients regarding sports injuries of the upper extremities. The event held at the No Pain Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center (Miraflores) on Wednesday, January 18th. The talk was from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm for patients who wish to learn about the latest advances and procedures in sports injuries of the hand, wrist, elbow, or shoulder.
Afterward, he held a meeting with colleagues from Peru: Dr. Verónica Rodríguez from the Anglo American Clinic and Rocío Salas, PT, from the NOPAIN Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center. He also visited Dr. Jorge Sarango, a specialist in sports medicine with a focus on the special development of sports injury rehabilitation.
